Tweed Swedeis a British bred vigorous growing hybrid with good club root resistance. This hardy winter root vegetable is an attractive well-formed uniform globe shape with purple shoulders and cream coloured flesh. Tweed grows particularly well in less fertile soil which is why it is a firm favourite with the home gardener. Swede is delicious when simply mashed with a little bit of butter. Yummy!
